It’s been almost six years since American began retrofitting its A321s with the standard American Airlines interiors. Currently, American is the world’s largest operator of the Airbus A320-family, which includes the A321. American Airlines flies its A321s on several short and medium haul domestic routes, making it an aircraft that’s likely to end up onboard if you’re traveling within the U.S. Continue reading to find out what it’s actually like to fly First Class on American from LaGuardia to Miami.

The Middle East is home to some of the world’s best airlines. Among some of the top carriers on that list are Emirates and Qatar Airways. However, a third player with a strong presence in the Gulf region also offers a luxurious Business Class experience. Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways doesn’t aim for a “wow factor” like Qatar’s Qsuites or the Emirates A380 Business Class product, but is still a very competitive option for travel to the Arabian Gulf region and beyond. 

United is introducing a brand new A321neo that will serve the airline’s premium domestic routes across the country. The Chicago-based carrier’s A321neo ‘Coastliner’ will feature a brand new premium interior on select transcontinental flights. 

Capital One is claiming its brand new JFK lounge to be their flagship location. The credit card issuer has been part of the airport lounge game for several years now, and most recently debuted an outpost in JFK’s Terminal 4. Additionally, the Capital One Lounge in New York offers several unique amenities such as an in-lounge bodega, cheesemonger, and flashy bar. If you’re passing through the Big Apple, then the Capital One Lounge is definitely worth a visit. 

United has established a network of its Business Class only Polaris Lounges. Having been around for four years now, the Polaris Lounge at Washington Dulles is the second of United’s two high-end offerings on the east coast. (The other one is in Newark EWR.) It’s the perfect place at IAD to relax before a long haul Business Class journey.

Situated in the heart of the Old Town along the banks of the Vltava River is one of Prague’s most luxurious hotels. The Four Seasons Prague blends renowned service with the charm of its historic surroundings in the Old Town, delivering fine attention to detail. Best of all, it provides excellent access to public transport and offers a signature view of the Prague Castle. 

One of Capital One’s most popular travel credit cards is offering a really high sign-up bonus that can be worth a lot towards air travel and hotel stays. The issuer has several transfer partners to choose from when it comes down to booking flights and hotels. Best of all, this credit card has a simple $95 annual fee and earns 2 miles per dollar on all purchases.

With nearly 70% of the airport’s market share, United has an important hub at Newark. Given the large volume of United flights, it’s no surprise that the airline has four lounges in EWR, including three United Clubs. Most United flights from Newark are out of Terminal C, however, Terminal A houses some domestic flights for the carrier. One of the nicest clubs in the entire system actually happens to be in Newark’s new Terminal A.

Soon, we can start saying goodbye to American Airlines’ flagship domestic jet. The Airbus A321T (T standing for transcon) is a 102-seat jet that has been operating the airline’s most premium-heavy domestic routes across the country since 2014. But now, it’s time for this aircraft to begin heading in for retirement. 

A new airport lounge is coming to a major hub in the Charlotte area. Capital One recently announced that a brand new Capital One Lounge is set to debut at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), which will measure at 14,000 square feet and mark the issuer’s eighth outpost.

Delta Air Lines is expanding its widebody fleet of international jets with the addition of a new fuel efficiency aircraft for the airline, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. On January 13, 2026, the Atlanta-based carrier announced plans to add 30 787-10s to its fleet. 

Lufthansa announced its Allegris Business Class product almost nine years ago back in 2017. However, the German flag carrier didn’t start flying aircraft with the Allegris seats until much later. Allegris features five different types of seats across the two Business Class cabins on some of Lufthansa’s A350s. At the beginning of 2026, we had the chance to experience Lufthansa Allegris Business Class on a flight from Munich to Newark.

Flying on the upper deck of a Boeing 747 is on every aviation enthusiast’s bucket list. It’s a distinct bubble that makes up a passenger section towards the front of the aircraft. Lufthansa’s 747-8s feature 32 Business Class seats on the upper deck, which provide a completely different perspective on flying as a passenger compared to traditional single-deck widebody aircraft. This plane won’t be around forever, and getting to fly on the Queen of the Skies (let alone on the upper deck) is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed out on.

Here’s our experience flying Lufthansa’s 747-8 in Business Class between IAD and FRA.  

Back in February, I found a deal to fly First Class with Emirates from Dubai to New York, which was slightly more than Business Class. Of course, I was very excited to experience the flagship Emirates First Class Lounge in Dubai, which offers incredible luxury to its guests. The space is really large and packed with amenities, seating, and various food and beverage stations. 

Shortly ahead of my Air Canada Business Class flight from New York to Toronto, I visited the Maple Leaf Lounge in LaGuardia’s Terminal B. It’s a comfortable lounge that gives you a taste of the Air Canada experience prior to boarding the aircraft and offers complimentary food and drinks. The Maple Leaf Lounge is among one of several lounges in Terminal B’s eastern concourse. 

The United Club at New York LaGuardia Airport is located in the western concourse of Terminal B near gates 40 to 59. It’s open from 5:00 AM to 8:30 PM Monday through Friday, but closes at 7:30 PM on Saturdays. Overall, United’s Lounge at LGA covers all the basics and isn’t that crowded, with plenty of comfortable seating.
